Residence DC

Residence DC is a minimalist home located in Tbilisi,Georgia. It was the wish of the client and designers to keep the relationship between classic and contemporary serene, and with as little contrast as possible. This result is a homogeneous concept where tranquility and simplicity prevail by the use of natural, yet qualitative materials. The main material chosen is a light oak wood veneer , which is combined with a more brutal drawing in the ceramic stone and a playful combination of colors in the terrazzo stone. The kitchen is conceived as one large furniture block with kitchen island/dining table.

The eye-catcher in living room is the TV backwall made of marble textured tiles that add extra dynamism to an otherwise neutral wall. 

Hidden doors, which are located in the direction of the rooms from the entrance, harmoniously merge with the space and cover the extra lines, as well as the wardrobe. 

The same oak veneer wall panel is presented in master bedroom, which brings coziness to the space. A semi-transparent glass partition separates the bathroom from the sleeping area, This even ensures the entry of natural light into the space.

The second bedroom which belongs to the young girl also shares the concept of the whole house to be bright, minimalist and modern. In this bathroom, we used terrazzo flooring combined with small vertical tiles and painted wall, black sanitary ware and accessorize brings more elegance  to this space.

A unique and customized console table, located in the entrance hall made in natural steel with a brass coating and marble. This gives the apartment a unique and classy look that is extended to the other brass accents such as faucet, lightnings, door handles and decoration.
